In the year 2004, Buffy Summers saved the world; like she had times before when the immediate death of thousands of people hung in the balance. Behind her not only the people she learnt to call family but legions of girls that had inherited the slayer bloodline from the spell Willow Rosenberg had done to tip the balance in their world and save everyone. The respective people that had been idealized by masses of young women everywhere. These people would become the new leaders of a world wide hunt for girls that had inherited the slayer birthright.

These people would become generals in a world wide task force to protect and defend.

On the otherside of California later that year, would become the start of the end of the world. The gateway to Hell become an uncorked dam, masses of demons surging forward to be greeted by those who aligned themselves with the vampire Angelus. By the time Buffy and her group of slayers made it there from Rome, America had lost all hope of surviving. Humans were no longer the top of the foodchain. Events that were seen as an alernate universe by one Cordelia Chase years before had become true: Demons ruled the Earth; humans were a scarce and fragile resource. Slayers treated no more than mules and those demons that aligned themselves with the 'White Hats' were now treated worse than dirt. The only hope people had were in the fact that humanity lasted a good thirty years; unless their lives were drawn out.

Spin to the lives of Sam and Dean Winchester. The events of the night of the youngest child of John and Mary Winchester have spun towards a destiny that had been decided before the youngest son was born. Trained to be hunters of the things that went bump in the night. Both raised on the road they were trained to deal with the losses in their life, the only people they had in the world for sure was each other. Depending on one another through life, Sam got to feel the full extent of his older brother's loss of life when he was torn apart right in front of him.

For three months, Sam Winchester became the hunter that he was 'always meant to be'. Became both savior to some and brutal animal to others. The awakening of his psychic abilities meant many things, one of those being that his potential of becoming what he was chosen for. The one to lead Azazel's army and the one hunted by those of the same background as him. Hunters. Humans. Sam is wanted by all for being what pain and loss has driven him to be: a hunter.

Three months past from Dean Winchester's death; the years in both universes are 2008. Time has past hellishly slow in Buffy's world; but progressed just about the same. Rebellions crushed before they're even a whisper of a word. Hope is nothing that exists any longer. What does exist is the fact that the world is about to be destroyed. That the moment Dean awakens and digs himself from his grave, the world that once was flourishing with slayers and the humor that was the Scooby gang was destroyed.

In the last moments of its existence, Buffy and Angel's universe collided the moment Dean took his first breath in the real world. With his second, countless others that had been reborn into his reality took their first breaths as a free and unified group. As did the enemies they fought so hard to keep down. Sam and Dean returned to being the broken hunters they were whilst Buffy, Angel, and the masses of slayers and humans that knew of their long and grueling fight learnt to function in the world that was at the brink of becoming like theirs.

The center of evil, the center that aligned themselves with the forces of Lilith; Wolfam & Hart is no longer under the workings of Angel but in a threaty with Lilith to place this new world in the same condition as the last. The only thing standing in their way is the unified front of hunters, slayers, and the demons that are aligned with them.
